Minimum 2 years project management experience. Minimum 3 years of management/leadership experience in a large & complex organization or minimum of 5 years of progressively more responsible roles in clinical areas. Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in clinical roles in provision of healthcare or a strong working knowledge & understanding of healthcare delivery. Membership in good standing with appropriate professional organization (i.e. CARNA, ACP). Working knowledge of AHS. Must be able to maintain positive relationships, be self-directed & effective in team environments as required. Strong time management skills & ability to meet deadlines are essential. Basic knowledge of systems principles, theories & concepts of the healthcare business. Experience leading project teams. Extensive knowledge of project management principles, tools & methodologies. Knowledge of PMO tools & project governance concepts demonstrating knowledge & experience implementing these tools & concepts with stakeholders. Experience in a health services is desired. Proven experience in managing teams, including demonstrated ability with decision making, coaching & mentoring. Proven ability to foster relationships & partnerships with highly complex internal & external stakeholders.
Additional Required Qualifications:Project Management Professional designation. Proven accountability in managing large, complex projects. Proven project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues lists, manage project plans and escalate issues appropriately). Strong communication and follow-up skills. Proven issues management skills and experience. Has developed depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline. Strong experience building project management knowledge and expertise in others. Actively and positively negotiate solutions in areas of conflict. Ability to lead IT and clinical operations staff, physicians through complex discussions to generate solutions. Detail oriented and probes for information to fully understand clinical issues, able to understand micro and macro points of view to create collaborative solutions. Experience mentoring and supporting staff. Demonstrated pattern of professional and personal development. Self-motivate and self-directed, requires little supervision.
