Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related area. A minimum of 5 years in a human resources role, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. Demonstrated critical thinking skills, with ability to apply a broad lens on issues that impact beyond a portfolio (Program area, internal and external stakeholders and government). A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Travel within the South Zone is a requirement of this position. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Influence and credibility, with the ability to navigate complex situations with appropriate outcomes. Effective navigation of politically sensitive environments. Coaching and mentoring for both team members and client groups. Relationship building with all partners and all levels in the organization, with the ability to build credibility and inspire confidence in the work of HRBP with clients. Critical thinking and decision making, with ability to meet deadlines. Results oriented, with ability to identify and deliver unique solutions. Collaboration and communication (written and oral), with ability to produce high quality reports. Ability to lead and manage change. Resilience and flexibility in a complex, rapidly changing environment. Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPHR or other recognized designation. Healthcare or other public sector experience. Experience working within a unionized environment and/or an organization with multiple legislative requirements. Project management experience working with complex initiatives. Experience with group facilitation and conflict resolution.
