Required Qualifications:

Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related area. Combination of education and experience will be considered. 2 years working within an HR Generalist role within a complex environment that includes experience with labour/employee relations. Demonstrated critical thinking skills, with ability to apply a broad lens on issues that impact beyond assigned portfolio. Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive situations with confidentiality, tact, diplomacy, decisive insight and effectively navigate politically sensitive environments. Comfortable navigating complex situations including identifying risks and mitigation strategies with the ability to influence clients/operations in order to achieve outcomes that align with HR and labour relations best practices. Ability to build effective relationships with all stakeholders at all levels in the organization. Effective communicator (written and oral) that can produce high quality reports and collaborate with teams & colleagues and stakeholders. Ability to meet deadlines while managing a robust workload. Ability to support change, maintain resilience and flexibility in a complex, rapidly changing environment. Comfortable with working independently and operating within a virtual working environment.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Healthcare or other public sector experience. Experience working within a unionized environment and/or an organization with multiple legislative requirements. Experience supporting complex initiatives. Experience in coaching and mentoring. Group facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
