Required Qualifications:

DMD/DDS. Pediatric Dentistry Specialty Degree.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completed a pediatric dental specialty training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada or by an organization with a reciprocal accreditation agreement with CDAC. This program may be a certificate or a Master's degree. Must pass the National Dental Specialty Examination (NDSE) for Pediatric Dentistry and the RCDC fellowship Examination within 1 year from the commencement of employment. Eligible for Alberta Dental License.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with procedural sedation. Consultation and assessment of pediatric patients with cleft palate and TMJ. Knowledge of resources and referral programs for community based dental treatment. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
