Completion of master's degree in Health Promotion, Public or Population Health, Health Education or a related field.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a quality/process improvement or evaluation in a leading role in the health care setting. Minimum of three years process improvement/evaluation experience with demonstrated familiarity with the development and implementation of process maps, logic models and measurement plans. Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities. Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a variety of disciplines, sectors and internal and external - stakeholders/partners. Demonstrated ability to support the conceptualization, planning, development, implementation of process improvement or evaluation projects. Knowledge and experience with both qualitative and quantitative evaluation methodologies, including critical appraisal skills. Knowledge of and expertise using statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:Quality improvement certification/designations such as Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt, LSS, IHI, improvement Advisor, etc.(Black Belt or equivalent designation; equivalencies will be considered) an asset. Special consideration will be given to persons with training in the areas of process improvement, quality improvement, and evaluation.
