Master's degree in Health Promotion, Public or Population Health, Health Education or a related field.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of three (3) years of experience in evaluation, quality improvement, performance management, health promotion or related field. Experience applying various research/evaluation methods. Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data. Knowledge of and experience applying the population health promotion model, relevant health promotion strategies and determinants of health, health equity and healthy public policy. Experience in strategic planning, program planning, development and implementation. Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into high quality deliverables (technical reports, strategic plans, presentations). Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a variety of disciplines, sectors and internal and external stakeholders/partners. Demonstrated success in developing, leading, and managing multiple projects and multi-partner initiatives. Demonstrated ability to facilitate and mobilize diverse groups and build consensus. Demonstrated ability to communicate (written, verbal and interpersonal) Demonstrated ability in report and grant writing. Demonstrated ability to develop and apply creative approaches to program planning and development. Demonstrated critical thinking skills, including conceptual, strategizing, and problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working independently in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Ability to be resourceful, creative, adaptive and flexible. Change management experience. Ability to be resourceful, creative, adaptive and flexible is an asset.
