Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Health Sciences, Health Education or a related field.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in relevant health promotion or population/public health or community-based experience. Experience developing frameworks, reports, plans (i.e., business, work, project, program strategic or implementation and other related deliverables (i.e., literature reviews, needs assessment, resources, logic models) Strong written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Community development experience, including ability to conduct community assessments, hold community consultations, and develop community capacity. Experience, knowledge and expertise in disease prevention, risk reduction, and health promotion in adult populations subject to inequities. Experience/knowledge related to Physical Activity/Sedentary Behavior, Workplace Health and/or Skin Cancer Prevention is an asset.
