Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Health Sciences, Health Education or a related field.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Comfort and experience working both independently and in collaboration with a team and community members. Experience facilitating groups. Understanding of best practice in the areas of mental health promotion, mental illness prevention, injury prevention and/or addiction prevention.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Master's degree in Health Promotion, Community Development, Public Health or a related field is preferred. Training in ASIST, Health Behavior Change, MHFA, PFA or similar certifications is a strong asset. Understanding of community engagement and program evaluation is a strong asset.
