Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Health Sciences, Health Education or a related field.

Additional Required Qualifications:

If applicable, registration with the appropriate professional associations is required. A minimum of three years working in public health/health promotion in a community health setting required; working in partnership with community groups and agencies preferred. Previous partnership development experience working with new Canadian and immigrant populations, Indigenous communities, low-income families, young families or other vulnerable populations is required. Experience in partnership development and group facilitation is required. Must be able to coordinate and manage several tasks and timelines. Strong interpersonal and writing skills are required. Must work well in a team as well as be self-directed to work independently. Ability to adapt in a changing environment is required. Strong computer literacy is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Public Health, health promotion is an asset. Experience in applying change management and knowledge translation techniques is preferred. Knowledge and experience with planning, implementing and evaluating injury prevention strategies is preferred.
