Completion of bachelor's degree in a health related field.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of five years’ relevant community-based experience in communities living with challenges with discrimination and/or other social determinants of health, with current knowledge of health issues related to vulnerable and marginalized communities, the theory and practice of community health specifically related to the social determinants of health, trauma-informed care, health equity, diversity and inclusion. Knowledge in and minimum of two years’ experience providing adult education, and proven skills in in-person and virtual group presentation, facilitation and team building. Knowledge and skill for consulting in Community Assessment and Health Promotion Program Planning (e.g. program planning and evaluation, quality improvement & change management). Strong and confident communication and interpersonal skills with diverse groups and in partnership building and collaboration. Strong oral and written communication.
Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree with relevant specialty. Recent training or certification related to equity, diversity and inclusion. Experience in a leadership role for a minimum of one year. Strong/above average knowledge of Microsoft Office and educational/learning platforms. Problem solving, decision-making and critical thinking skills including conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
