Additional Required Qualifications:Current Basic Cardiac Life Support- Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) from Heart & Stroke. Experience as a Health Care Aide in an acute medical inpatient unit within the last 2 years. New grads who have completed a final practicum in an acute care setting may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:One year experience in an acute medical nursing unit within the last 2 years. Recent palliative care experience within the last 3 years. Familiarity with CoAct. Experience using SCM for electronic documentation. It’s Your Move or other related safe patient handling training. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within the last 2 years.
