Required Qualifications:

A Province of Alberta certification in a mechanical, electrical, or related trade, or Bachelor’s degree in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with professional certification in APEGA, or certification as a mechanical or electrical or engineering technologist with 10 years’ experience, along with a minimum of 5 years management experience in maintenance and building operation in a hospital setting, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity.


Additional Required Qualifications:

In addition, the incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Progressive leadership experience in a facility maintenance environment, including 7 years’ experience in a management role. Progressive leadership experience in an acute healthcare environment, including 5 years’ experience in a management role in building operations.


Preferred Qualifications:

Masters certification in an appropriate trade is considered an asset. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
