Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with applicable professional association or college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field of study. Current registration with a government accredited professional association (Alberta College of Social Workers, College of Alberta Psychologists etc.). 3 to 5 years of direct clinical experience in child and adolescent mental health with proven experience as a clinical therapist able to offer individual interventions. Knowledge, skills and experience in assessment and DSM-V diagnosis. Proficient in using Windows, E-mail, Microsoft Office (including excel) and typing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with or in a school setting and an understanding of Alberta Learning’s requirements for student education and familiarity of the education system. Knowledge of the inter-relationships between school milieus, community, and family systems. Experience with providing capacity building support to other professional and families in the form of both consultation and professional presentations. Experience in providing group therapy.
