Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with applicable professional association or college.
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of one of the following programs: master's degree in Psychology; master's degree in Social Work (clinical specialization) including education in mental health assessment and psychotherapy; master's degree in Occupational Therapy including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy; master's degree in Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy; Active or eligible for registration with the applicable regulatory college. Five years of direct family therapy provision. Specialization in family therapy modalities with ability to provide generalist services to broader geographic population which may include individuals, non-traditional family organizations, and groups. Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and clinical skills (individual, family, couple and group), coupled with the ability to be self-directed, highly motivated and work effectively within a team environment. Non-Graduated driver's license (non-GDL) Five years post graduate experience working with children, youth, and families with complex needs required. Completed registration with applicable regulatory college under the Health Professions Act. Masters of Social Work candidates must have Clinical Registry or working towards Registry.
Preferred Qualifications:Masters Degree in Family Therapy preferred. Membership in the AAMFT or CAMFT considered an asset.
