Your Opportunity:

Located less than 20/30 minutes from Calgary, you will be based out of the Okotoks AND High River addiction and mental health clinic providing change and goal focused therapy. Supported by a multi-disciplinary team, and a clinical supervisor, you will be tasked with managing a caseload while establishing a clinical practice unique to your professional development goals. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Description:

As a Family Counsellor, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up to clients and their families. You will also provide clinical focused consultation with other programs or community resources and acts as a liaison to develop and promote preventative health programs in the community. You will collaborate with other health care providers and community service providers to ensure a continuum of care in the community.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Master's in psychology, social work or nursing required. Approved to complete psychosocial interventions.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 3 years experience. Experience in rural settings.
