Calgary – Adolescent Day Treatment Program (ADTP) is looking for an energetic individual to join our Intensive Day Treatment team. The Family Counsellor - Adolescent Day Treatment Program collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals, in the provision of individual, group, and family treatment services as well as milieu management and crisis intervention. The successful candidate will possess strong teamwork, communication, and client engagement skills. Knowledge of adolescent development, substance use issues, and the treatment of co-occurring disorders are essential. Flexibility is required for practice within an evolving continuum of care. Occasional evening work may be required to deliver programming to parents and caregivers. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Description:
As a Family Counsellor, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up to clients and their families. You will also provide clinical focused consultation with other programs or community resources and acts as a liaison to develop and promote preventative health programs in the community. You will collaborate with other health care providers and community service providers to ensure a continuum of care in the community.

Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 2 years' experience working with adolescents with mental health and substance use concerns.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Collaborative Problem Solving is an asset. Brain Stroy Certification.
