Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.
Additional Required Qualifications:A master’s degree in Social Sciences, combined with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a treatment environment. A minimum of 2 years' experience providing direct family counseling, preferably within an addiction and/or mental health setting. Suicide Prevention training, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and First Aid/BLS are required.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to those with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Demonstrates knowledge in Trauma Informed Care and Collaborative Problem Solving. A strong ability to work with other professionals is essential, and experience delivering staff training is an asset.
