Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with applicable professional association or college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

3 to 5 years of direct clinical experience in child and adolescent mental health with proven experience as a clinical therapist able to offer individual interventions. Knowledge, skills and experience in assessment and DSM-V diagnoses. Proficient in using Windows, E-mail, Microsoft Office (including Excel) and typing. Experience with providing capacity-building support to other professionals and families in the form of both consultation and professional presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Social Work with psychosocial intervention status preferred. Completion of Brain Story Certification. Experience working with or in a school setting and an understanding of Alberta Learning’s requirements for student education and familiarity of the education system. Knowledge of the inter-relationships between school milieus, community and family systems. Experience providing group therapy.
