Required Qualifications:

One or more of the following is required: 4 Years University Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering), Bachelor of Science, Public Administration, or other technical relevant discipline recognized equivalent. Journeyman Certification in a Building Trade. NAIT/SAIT Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical or Civil Technology or other technical relevant discipline recognized equivalent. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in leadership role in facilities, Industrial/Hospital/Health Care or other relevant and technical setting in Facility Operations and Maintenance.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of recent experience in facilities/industrial/hospital/health care/maintenance management is required. Must have advanced knowledge of engineering and management methods and procedures. Must have good knowledge of computer applications and programs. Advanced knowledge of site infrastructure and departmental procedures/operations required. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be creative, adaptable, and must possess good practical knowledge and well developed analytical and problem-solving skills. Must possess leadership and management skills/abilities.


Preferred Qualifications:

Previous or current hospital maintenance experience and P. Eng. (Professional Engineering), FMP (Facility Management Professional) or CFM (Certified Facility Manager) certification is considered an asset.
