Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 8 to 10 years in a pharmacy management role in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity (healthcare experience an asset). The incumbent will demonstrate a clear pattern of professional and personal development. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Progressive leadership experience in a pharmacy environment, including a minimum of five years’ experience in a senior management role in pharmacy operations. Successful record of achievement as a leader, including extensive experience in senior leadership of a large and diverse range of functions. Knowledge and practical experience is the application of business planning, modeling concepts, and program and project management theories, principles and practices. Uses strategic thinking, taking into account long-term goals assessing options and implications. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing long term quality services. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Ability to manage diverse human, financial and physical resources within a complex environment. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within a large, diverse organization and managing within a unionized sector. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships with public agencies, government, boards, committees and other partners.
