Required Qualifications:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related discipline. Diploma, certificate, or courses in quality improvement and patient safety. Professional license, certification, or registration in related field. A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in a clinical discipline such as nursing or an allied health profession. Minimum five (5) years’ management experience with progressive leadership responsibilities, preferably within a large and complex healthcare setting.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Leadership skills, including a demonstrated ability and comfort with decision-making responsibilities. A demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. An ability to manage resources in a complex environment. An effective communicator with strong organizational skills, customer-focused orientation, and a commitment to providing a quality services. The ability to inspire and build confidence in others, to coach and teach your teammates, and foster cooperation amongst and build solid relationships with internal and external key stakeholders, including public agencies, government, boards, committees, and other partners. Proven track record of anticipating future opportunities and challenges and proactively positioning the organization to respond accordingly.


Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in healthcare related field or business administration.
