Required Qualifications:

A Master’s degree in a relevant health discipline or MBA and membership or eligibility for registration in a professional health association is required. Minimum of 7 years of progressive healthcare experience in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Applied knowledge and understanding of Canadian health system, the provincial health structure in Alberta, and relevant legislation and regulation. Ability to manage complex relationships and interactions with stakeholders that may be politically sensitive.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as excellent verbal and written skills. Ability to work collaboratively with senior team members within the sector as well as with clinical and corporate portfolios across the organization. Expertise in project management including analytical skills to determine, establish, and evaluate projects. Ability to prioritize, manage and meet deadlines in a time sensitive and multi-project environment is essential. Conceptual and analytical skills to synthesize large volumes of data or information and draw meaningful conclusions from the sources. Capability to balance conflicting and competing priorities to ensure effective outcomes. Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with sensitive issues, emotional circumstances and with individuals who are experiencing a crisis.
