Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a post-secondary diploma in office or business administration is required. Five or more years of progressive responsibility in this area of work is required. 3-5 years working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint) in order to respond to action requests, and to prepare and edit correspondence and respond to stakeholder inquiries. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Excellent formatting, grammar and proofreading skills. Excellent skills in recording meeting minutes. Ability to complete duties with numerous interruptions. Ability to balance and prioritize workload. Ability to coordinate meetings. Ability to handle incoming phone calls, emails and in person interactions in a courteous and effective manner. Ability to be a healthy team member with a positive attitude and one who contributes to a positive working environment by being discrete and supporting colleagues when they require additional support. Ability to be flexible and willing to learn new concepts. Must be able to travel in conjunction with the Senior Program Officer. Must be able to create relationships at all levels of the organization and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Recent experience working with a provincial project. 5 years working knowledge of AHS systems and processes in an operational setting. 5 years working knowledge of AHS policies and processes and general office policies and procedures. Senior level administrative experience supporting larger portfolios or executive positions. Recent experience collaborating closely with the CIO office. Working knowledge of the provincial CIS initiative.
