A minimum bachelor’s degree or diploma in health services administration, business administration or a related field required. Equivalencies of education (e.g. certificate in executive office administration) with additional years of experience over the minimum requirement will be considered. 3-5 years related healthcare experience with demonstrated success providing advanced level support to senior or executive leadership. Experience working within a large organization with a variety of staffing group and organizational levels required. Note this position is required to work in the office >95% of the time.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel, Visio Power Point and Outlook) and Adobe. Ability to provide after hours and flexible support, if necessary. Energy, enthusiasm, and a “let’s roll up our sleeves and get it done” attitude. A high level of professionalism and positive image at all times and a solid work ethic. Strong communication skills to correspond with all levels in the organization including the board, ELT, senior leaders and external partners. Candidates can expect a proficiency test as part of the selection process.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years’ experience within Alberta Health Services with considerable working knowledge of Alberta Health Services systems and processes and of the organization and programs.
