Your Opportunity:

The ERAS Provincial Project Manager works with a high degree of independence and in concert with the ERAS Provincial Manager to plan, implement and manage projects within Enhanced Recovery After Surgery Alberta (ERASAlberta). The Provincial Project Manager develops, plans, leads and coordinates assigned projects using a collaborative project management approach. Types of assigned project may include: Sustainable Implementation Resources, Education & Communication Resources, Data Management, Clinical Guidelines & Pathways, other priorities. The position provides leadership and direct support to manage project details/ deliverables/ timelines and costs in collaboration with clinician and business group stakeholders; develop, manage processes, tools, guidelines and resources, and produce, monitor, mitigate and/or support implementation within a variety of clinical and business settings.


The ERAS Provincial Project Manager is responsible for integrating blended project management best practices (traditional, agile and relational), healthcare implementation science and clinical knowledge translation best practices into all assigned projects including regular reporting on progress, status and budget. The Project Manager is responsible for contributing to quality management within ERASAlberta including performance measurement, evaluation and process improvement. The position is also responsible for sustainability planning related to ongoing project deliverables. This position will make a significant contribution to the work within ERASAlberta to make surgical care better for Albertans as a priority innovation initiative within the Surgery Strategic Clinical Network (SCN).

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in social sciences, education, business, and/or healthcare. 3-5 years of progressive experience in provincial project work focused on data-driven quality improvement, clinical knowledge translation, stakeholder relationships, multifaceted education and communication and/or leading, planning, implementation and evaluation within an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment. Experience working with healthcare clinicians, administrators and researchers. Excellent virtual team collaboration skills, advanced Microsoft Office and Adobe skills

Additional Required Qualifications:

Direct experience with clinical quality improvement approaches and methods, clinical guideline/pathway development and knowledge translation, evaluation and research data management approaches (collection, analysis, reporting, dissemination), and healthcare provider and patient educational resource development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters preferred. Other equivalent education and experience will be considered
