Master’s Degree in epidemiology (or related field) with 3 years of progressive public health-related experience preferred. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
Additional Required Qualifications:
In addition, the incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Broad based skills and knowledge of outbreak investigation methods and/or public health surveillance as well as communicable disease control, environmental health, public health and occupational health. Strong skills in biostatistics, epidemiology as well as working with large and complex health-related data sets. Intermediate to advanced level experience with SAS and Tableau. Understanding of relational databases and experience with accessing and using data from Oracle servers an asset. Ability to conduct synthesis reviews of the literature an asset. Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills. Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary projects that involve multiple stakeholders. Proven ability to collaborate with administrators, researchers, planners and service providers. Proven ability to plan, organize and lead short and long-term plans and projects. Strong problem solving, critical appraisal and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an effective team member in a high-paced team setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in epidemiology (or related field) with 3 years of progressive public health-related experience preferred. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
