Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Knowledge and operation of a computer including Microsoft Office. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and perform repetitive movements for the duration of your shift. Physically capable to lift, push and pull up to 30 lbs of force.
Additional Required Qualifications:Good interpersonal skills required. Must be fluent in the English language. Must be able to write and read English. Good communication skills, auditory acuity, manual and finger dexterity, motor coordination. Previous experience in Health Care Cleaning an asset. Must be physically fit, able to lift heavy loads. Must be able to walk and or stand for long periods of time An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through employment record, interview, and references. Knowledge of hospital equipment / procedures an asset. Knowledge of WHMIS is an asset. “Successful candidates will be required to provide a criminal record check that is satisfactory to AHS in compliance with the AHS Security Screening Directive” Please note this position is located outside Calgary city limits (70 km South of Calgary).
Preferred Qualifications:Grade 12 preferred.
