Required Qualifications:

Non-restricted registration in good standing with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACoP) as an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) issue by Heart and Stroke. Must be able to obtain a valid Class 4 Alberta Operator Licence, or equivalent, and a current five (5) year driver¿s abstract - within six (6) months with no more than six (6) demerits prior to commencing of employment. Must provide proof of certificate of successful completion of Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) test by the Lifemark, or an approved equivalent test, prior to receiving an offer of employment - applicable to all applicants, including AHS employees who do not hold a clinical position within AHS EMS (VESST, Clinical Educator, EMR, PCP, ACP and Community Paramedic).
