Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Journeyperson Certificate in one of the following trades: Electrician, Electronics Technician or Instrument Technician from Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training; or completion of a two-year diploma of related technology (Electronic Technologist).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must have 3 years working as an electronic tech in an institutional or health care facility. Must CFAA certificate and have a solid background with 5 years with Edwards Fire Alarm systems, devices and sprinkler systems as it relates to a healthcare facility. Strong troubleshooting and regular maintenance of fire systems requirements. Must have knowledge of NFPA codes and compliance of fire systems understanding. Must have Knowledge and understanding of AMAG systems, Nurse Call Rollins Responder 4/5.Familar with MDRD systems. Able to read and interrupt Blueprints drawings. Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English language. Work independently as well with a small team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Must CFAA certificate. Must have knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes and compliance of fire systems. This position also supports four AHS sites within director's portfolio there a diverse background of older electronic systems would be an asset.
