Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduation from a formal electrophysiology program, or equivalent training. Successful completion of Canadian Board of Registration of EEG Technologists (CBRET) examinations or equivalent in addition to either successful completion of the Board of Registration of Electromyography of Canada (BRETC) examinations or successful completion of the Certification Examination in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM). English language fluency to meet ACMDTT policy. Current CPR certification. Proven leadership, teamwork, and time management skills. Exceptional communication skills. Ability to handle the physical requirements of the job: prolonged sitting/standing, pushing/pulling of equipment, assisting with patient transfers, sustained awkward postures involved in day-to-day work activities.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 3-5 years’ work experience in a Clinical Neurophysiology Lab. ACMDTT ictal SPECT injection enhanced practice authorization desired. EMG experience preferred.
