Your Opportunity:
Electrical position to support the Alberta Infrastructure project at Red Deer regional. The role is intended to assist with the implementation of new replacement infrastructure and ensure alignment between operational requirements and project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Manage and perform electrical isolations. Conduct thorough reviews of site conditions and provide detailed feedback to the project’s design and construction teams. Participate in and/or lead Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA) hazard assessment studies related to facility utility service replacements. Assist with outage contingency planning and mitigation strategies to ensure minimal impact on site operations and patient care.
Description:
As an Electrician you will work in accordance with the accepted codes, standards, regulations and procedures. Under minimal supervision, the electrician performs a variety of highly skilled electrical maintenance and repairs of a complex nature requiring use of schematics, blue prints and specialized test equipment.

Completion of an accredited Journeyperson Electrician Certificate with Red Seal from Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training. Must hold a valid Class 5 Alberta Operator's Licence.
Additional Required Qualifications:Electrical Maintenance & Construction Technician. Healthcare Facility Experience – 5+ Years.
Preferred Qualifications:Skilled in the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, backup generators, and fire alarm systems. Proficient in diagnosing and resolving electrical faults, with thorough knowledge of NFPA, NEC, and Joint Commission compliance requirements. Maintained accurate and detailed documentation for inspections, maintenance activities, and regulatory compliance reporting.
