Completion of an accredited Journeyperson Electrician Certificate with Red Seal from Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training. Must hold a valid Class 5 Alberta Operator's Licence.
Additional Required Qualifications:Alberta accredited Fire Alarm Certification. Grade 12 or equivalent education 5 years’ experience with-in a Health Care Facility. Is actively involved in Workplace Health & Safety/OH&S meetings and activities. Follows the AHS Electrical Safety Program and all FM&E safe work procedures and practices, wears personal protective equipment assessed as being required, reporting substandard workplace conditions and practices, reporting any work-related injury promptly and attending work alert and able.
Preferred Qualifications:Certification AMAG Access System. Certificate of Training and Competency in Electrical Arc Flash and Shock Risk Assessment. Able to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturer’s specifications, drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and PLC ladder logic.
