Required Qualifications:

Completion of recognized post-secondary program in a health or education related field. Active or eligible for registration with applicable regulatory body.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in either Education, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or relevant field. Experience providing adult education in a variety of learning environments. Knowledge of e-learning authoring tools (e.g. Adobe Captivate). Basic skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to: Liaise, consult and share resources with other AHS initiatives and educators, through active participation in committees and working groups. Have exceptional facilitation skills - being able to present content concisely and clearly, and being able to engage, listen to, and respond to an adult audience and manage a variety of in-person and virtual learning environments. Be committed to the ongoing development of AMH focused learning in the Calgary Zone. Have strong organizational skills (including time management and project management skills), and the ability to prioritize competing demands. Be highly motivated and self-directed and able to work independently or as a productive member of a multidisciplinary team. Have strong interpersonal skill and the ability to collaborate with others on joint projects and team outcomes. Have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Have exceptional communication skills (presentation, verbal and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in relevant field. 3-5 years of experience in AMH; experience ideally combines time as an Educator and as a Clinician. Current certification as an Instructor for Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI). Active Session Coordinator for My Learning Link. Experience managing projects of various sizes/scopes. Experience conducting literature reviews to identify evidence-informed practices and policies for the purpose of curriculum development.
