Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:A Registered Nurse in good standing with CARNA with a minimum of 5 years of intensive care experience (within last 7 years). Demonstrate clinical competence in assessment, care provision and planning. Exceptional written/verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Effective time management and organizational skills. Must be able to work in a strong vibrant setting as a team player. Ability to work independently - use own initiative and be self-directed. Computer skills (Word, Excel, Access. PowerPoint and Outlook) required.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous HOPE coordinator experience required.
