Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Nursing degree (BScN or equivalent) required. 3-5 years recent clinical experience in organ donation/transplantation or relevant quality assurance experience. Must have strong working knowledge of computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of Health Canada regulations and CSA standards regarding donation and transplantation strongly preferred. Excellent organizational, written/oral communication and interpersonal skills preferred. Must be able to work as a team player, be flexible and adaptable and have the ability to manage and tolerate change. Demonstrates effective problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently, set priorities, recognize and maintain confidential information.
