PhD with an Epidemiologic, Population Health, Health Services or applied Research focus. A minimum of 5 years research experience as an independent investigator with a record of publications and grant acquisitions. This position requires diplomacy, leadership, strategic thinking, organization, and the ability to build consensus, maintain objectives, and focus on achieving goals and supporting others in achieving goals while balancing competing priorities. Expertise in preparation of applied research grants and study conduct. Excellence in scientific and public written and verbal communication. Solid understanding of both research and health care environments. Ability to foster collaboration and develop partnerships. Ability to manage professional staff, monitor and oversee budgets in a complex, diverse and changing environment. Ability to coach, teach, and to inspire and build confidence in others. Ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues.
