A baccalaureate degree in human Resources, business administration or a related discipline and/or Chartered Professional Accountants designation is required. Equivalencies of education and experience will be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 10 years in a human resources role leading large, diverse teams within an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity (health care experience is an asset) plus a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role is needed. Working knowledge of HR Information Systems (PeopleSoft preferred) is also required. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing long term quality services. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making, coaching and mentoring, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in teams. Ability to manage diverse human, financial and physical resources within a complex production-based environment. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals.
Preferred Qualifications:Canadian Payroll Leadership Professional (formerly Certified Payroll Manager) Designation from the National Payroll Institute is preferred.
