Required Qualifications:

An undergraduate degree in a healthcare profession, healthcare management, business administration or a related degree. Minimum of 5 to 7 years in a senior management role related to delivery of health services in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Equivalencies of education and experience will be considered.


Additional Qualifications:

A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Practical experience in quality improvement, patient safety and patient relations. Demonstrated effective leadership skills and knowledge of change leadership with experience leading large scale change and system transformation. Demonstrated ability to foster a highly effective Integrated Quality Management team with skills in leadership, coaching and mentoring. Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration and build partnerships to achieve organizational goals. Demonstrated ability to build and sustain commitment to system and service delivery continuous improvement through effective patient, family, staff and physician engagement and communication. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in quality improvement, innovation, business planning, risk management, project management and change management theories, principles and practices. Strong information management skills with good understanding of metrics and analytics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree preferred. Preferred 5 years’ experience with progressive leadership in quality improvement, patient safety and/or patient relations.
