Bachelor or Diploma in Law Enforcement, Police Management, Security and Asset Protection, Healthcare, or Humanities and Business Administration. Minimum of 7 years of progressive management experience within healthcare security, healthcare operations leadership, policing, or law enforcement. Experience working within a complex, public sector organization or organization of significant size, complexity, or diversity.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated comfort with decision-making responsibilities. Track record of experienced relationship-building skills and the ability to forge effective working partnerships with internal and external partners. Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans, with effective organizational and change management skills. Ability to effectively coach and mentor staff, to inspire and build confidence in others. Strong public speaking capabilities. Experience working within a complex, public sector organization or organization of significant size, complexity, or diversity. Must possess a valid driver license for work related travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. CHPA -Certified Health Care Protection Administrator. CPP -Certified Protection Professional. Related leadership development and/or industry training / certifications. Experience managing within a unionized work environment.
