Undergraduate degree or Diploma in a healthcare profession. Healthcare Management or Business Administration degree with appropriate healthcare experience may be considered. 5 years in a management capacity in a healthcare environment. Progressive leadership experience in health services delivery. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Current professional registration and valid driver’s license.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, customer focused orientation and commitment to provide a quality service. Leadership skills including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision-making responsibilities, coaching and teaching with an ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. An ability to manage resources in a complex environment. An ability to build and foster collaboration with stakeholders, care givers, senior management and external agencies. Thorough working knowledge of management principles in the provision of health care. Working knowledge of Operational Best Practice strategies and Activity Based Budgeting
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in administration/health administration, preferred. Experience in direct clinical work preferred.
