Required Qualifications:

Completion of Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Foods and Nutrition. Completion of an internship program or practicum training program accredited by the Dietitians of Canada. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous experience of at least two years as a dietitian in population and public health. Knowledge & experience in collaborative strategies, facilitation processes and partnership management preferred. Experience in acquiring, assessing, analyzing, interpreting and communicating scientific evidence preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a related area is preferred (e.g. nutrition, health promotion, adult education, public health). Registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in nutrition and population health promotion. Demonstrated ability in planning, developing, implementing & evaluating nutrition initiatives that employ a range of population health promotion strategies.
