Completion of Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Foods and Nutrition. Completion of an internship program or practicum training program accredited by the Dietitians of Canada. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience with Home Nutrition Support Program and inpatient experience including working with multidisciplinary teams, working with GI patients and prescribing nutrition support including enteral nutrition and parenteral nutrition (PN). Requirements include: Restricted activity to prescribe PN prior to starting position; joining the weekend on call rotation for RAH, LCH, FSCH and SCH; vehicle; and CPR certification prior to starting position.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Connect Care would be an asset.
