Completion of extended diploma from an accredited ultrasound program or completion of certification in Diagnostic Sonography from an accredited program. Active or eligible for registration with Sonography Canada and/or Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT and/or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Valid membership from Sonography Canada and/or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is required. Must be able at times to work alone and be able to take direction remotely from a Radiologist.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent Pediatric Ultrasound experience in a tertiary hospital setting preferred. Demonstrated excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, problem solving and decision making skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, dynamic environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as a team member in a multidisciplinary environment.
