BSc in health informatics or relevant health related field, or diploma or related experience in computer technology. Experience working with health related data. A minimum two to five years’ experience in developing solutions from the conceptual stage through to implementation. Proven ability to work in a team setting.
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with and demonstrated knowledge of one of the department’s relational database management systems (Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL). Experience with and knowledge of statistical packages used within the department (SAS/R) is an asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience in application development in .net framework . Experience de-identifying data with Eclipse would be an asset.
