Required Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science, Health Information Science or related field or equivalent in education and experience. Formal training in database design and modeling and computer programming. Proficiency and experience with Oracle 11g (SQL, PL/SQL) and MS Access (VBA) programming languages. Experience with TOAD or SQL Navigator database development tools. Ability to perform complex application testing, data analysis and/or system analysis. Working knowledge of operating systems/servers, i.e., UNIX, Windows 7. 3-5 years previous experience in database management, preferably in a health care setting.


Additional Qualifications:

Experience in working within a changing environment and a proven ability to work collaboratively. Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels. Strong leadership from a technical perspective, organizational, time management and administrative skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Displays initiative and ability to work independently and inter-dependently. Good understanding of data integrity and data quality concepts, principles and processes related to continuous quality improvement.
