Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years clinical experience required. Strong verbal communication and public speaking skills required. Knowledge of organizational/clinical workflows and practice. Strong interpersonal skills required. Ability to learn new material quickly and adapt to change is required. The ability to build rapport easily is required. Comfort with technology required. Strong team player required. Ability to critically think and solve problems quickly and efficiently is required. Approachable, team player, mentoring ability required. Ability to facilitate group discussions and keep the frontline users on task to maintain education. Be patient and calm when faced with multiple distractions and problems that may arise. Be approachable in all settings. Demonstrated ability to think systematically and critically to improve quality and outcomes. Significant experience in problem solving, concerns/conflict resolution, and negotiation. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, and client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Ability to promote the change process in a positive manner is required. Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office tools including word, SharePoint, Visio, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Epic system knowledge preferred.
