Coordinator II
Your Opportunity:
The Calgary Zone Project Management team is seeking appropriate candidates for multiple Project Management Coordinators responsible to support Senior Project Managers (SPM) and/or Project Managers (PM) in the delivery and implementation of projects through the project life cycle, including project initiation, planning & design, execution, close-out, monitoring and control. Types of projects may include major and minor projects and complex operational building infrastructure projects within AHS. Working in conjunction with the SPM and/or PM the Project Management Coordinator's duties will include, but are not limited to, scoping activities as directed, the development of project schedules, project budgets, procurement documentation and cash flow forecasts. In addition, this position will aid in the performance of contract administration, project supervision, building and operational commissioning, coordination of equipment installation and preliminary reviews and recommendations for approval of the project expenditures. This position is a liaison between the various project team members & must have excellent communication skills. Working conditions include walking around construction sites in all weather conditions, climbing ladders and other obstacles. At this time these positions are expected to support multiple sites.

Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:A Journeyman Trade Certificate and/or Diploma in related architecture, building or engineering technology program. Minimum 5 years related commercial/institutional construction project management experience with the preference in hospital or healthcare facility construction and/or healthcare facility management experience preferred. CAPM designation associated in the Building Infrastructure Industry.
