Diploma or certificate in health informatics, healthcare administration, health information or related education. At least 4 years’ experience in a referral processing role in an ambulatory, outpatient or primary care setting. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an application support and customer service role. Extensive medical terminology knowledge and a solid understanding of the health system in Alberta are required. A combination of education, skills and experience may be considered.
