A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an area related to social sciences, health or health related area or related education. Background and/or understanding of the interface between our clients and the criminal justice system, with preference for those that have experience in family violence intervention.
Additional Required Qualifications:In addition to education, strong experience in programs related to Mental & Justice with front line experience in the delivery of family violence treatment programs or ancillary (e.g. addiction or mental health treatment for perpetrators). Strong program development, strategic planning for programs, inclusive of understanding of monitoring for such programs on a provincial level for adherence to Service Operating Requirements (SORs). Good understanding of program development, change management, evaluation, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment with both provincial and zone staff. Good community facilitation and issue resolution skill set. Excellent interpersonal skills & demonstrated ability to work on a dynamic team and handle competing demands in a fast-paced, challenging environment. High degree of professionalism in dealing with urgent requests, sensitive information & conflicted situations. Excellent critical thinking & problem solving skills; able to apply these skills at a systems level to plan, problem solve, and organize multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference is for Masters’ prepared individuals with focus on social sciences, health or health related areas or related education. Education and experience encompasses an understanding of health and, preferably, addiction and mental health and justice system related programs.
