Required Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelors degree in a health-related discipline. Minimum three years experience working with Indigenous Communities. Self-directed with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, with an ability to handle multiple tasks. Excellent interpersonal and team skills. Strong written and oral skills for the use in the development of oral presentations, summaries, reports, etc. Seeks guidance to connect with external partners to AHS. Liaises with internal and external contacts to participate in scientific activities. Ability to manage and prioritize work and meet deadlines. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Ability to work with high level external and internal key stakeholders. Conflict management expertise focussing on group dynamics and diverse priorities. Aptitude for building and sustaining complex relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge and sensitivity around the culture and health issues of Indigenous people as well as successful experience working in multi-cultural environments. A well-developed understanding of community-based work in an Indigenous community setting. Knowledge of project management methodology in a health care setting. Ability to navigate through AHS systems and processes is an asset.
